CHPNA Announces Campaign to Renovate Medians

The CHPNA Board serves as primary caretaker of the three Jones-Maltsberger grassy medians alongside Crownhill Park. These prominent islands greet visitors to our neighborhood. Volunteers have tended to this city land for decades but it’s in dire need of improvement.

Work will take place in two stages. First, up to 15 planting beds with metal border, weed barrier fabric, and either rock or mulch will be installed. Some of the existing vegetation will be relocated during this

process. Then new shrubs, agave / cactus, and trees will be added in 2025 and 2026 as fundraising allows. Boulders may be added to deter vehicles.

Donations and volunteers are needed. Please show your support by sending a gift now. Click the button below to donate the equivalent of the following options:

$30 = 1 Large Shrub                  $50 = 1 Cactus or Agave                  $150 = 1 Small Tree
