CHPNA Announces Campaign to Renovate Medians

The CHPNA Board serves as primary caretaker of the three Jones-Maltsberger grassy medians alongside Crownhill Park. These prominent public islands greet visitors to our neighborhood. Volunteers have tended to this city land for decades but it’s in dire need of improvement.

Work will take place in two stages. First, a dozen planting beds with metal border, weed barrier fabric, and decorative rock were installed in 2025. Then over the next 3 years, new shrubs, agave / cactus, and trees will be added as fundraising allows. Boulders or other deterrents may be added to mitigate illegal parking which could damage the landscaping upgrades.

Donations and volunteers are needed. Please show your support by sending a gift now. Click the button below to donate the equivalent of the following options. Here's what your generosity can do:

$30 = 1 Large Shrub  •  $50 = 1 Cactus or Agave  •  $150 = 1 Small Tree

GIVE SOME GREEN TO THE MEDIANS!
